This is brightly coloured Summer landscape painting of Donald's features a small Rocky Mountain lake as well as the Rocky Mountains and valley below in the background. This oil on Board painting is catalogued in his "Purcell, Selkirk and Rocky Mountain Series". The painting combines many of the elements that Donald is known for including water/ mountains/ sky, excellent perspective, flowing glaciers and effective use of light. It also comes from his highly sought after early career period.

Signed on the front and comes with an elegant, complimentary new gallery style frame featuring a white linene seamless liner and antiqued silver outer moulding valued at $1,120.00 CAD.
