view of this original oil on canvas painting featuring
a colourful river scene of the Little Shuswap River
near Chase, BC.
Dr.
DM Flather really enjoyed the Shuswap Lake Region and
in fact in the late 1960's he owned a hobby farm in
the small town of Celista on the West shore of Shuswap
Lake.
This
painting comes from Donald's popular "Shuswap/
Adams Lake Area BC Paintings Series" that Donald
painted between 1940 and 1974.
