This
oil painting features a somewhat famously known scraggly
pine tree on the shore of Skaha Lake, BC. Made famous
from a CPR passenger rail brochure printed in the early
1900's that showed this tree along the beautiful Skaha
Lake hillside. Unfortunately, the tree was apparently
cut down by mistake by railway maintenance crews at
some time after Donald spotted it.
This
painting comes from Donald's popular "Okanagon
Lake Area BC Paintings Series" that Donald painted
circa 1953 and prior.
